Ramen Ramen!

Calamari

Miso Ramen

After a long day of shopping around San Francisco we ate a late dinner at Katana-Ya, a small Japanese restaurant known for their ramen. The calamari was a good start to the meal, but the miso ramen definitely caught our attention. Had a lot of flavor and the portion sizes were fairly large. The miso along with added corn, fried dumplings, seaweed, bbq pork, and egg make it delicious. It was definitely a great choice to fulfill our late night cravings.

Old Fisherman’s Grotto Clam Chowder

Clam Chowder Bread Bowl

Monterey, California is one of our all time favorite spots. It is also the place of our engagement! Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey is known for its cluster of seafood restaurants and small shops. We’ve been here before back in 2010 and we knew it was time to visit again. Old Fisherman’s Grotto was our spot for the best clam chowder. This time around we picked up our lunch from their outside vendor and got it in the bread bowl. With its fresh, creamy texture and perfectly blended flavor, the sourdough made it absolutely perfect!
